Max is a big handsome boy looking for his furrever home.

When he first arrived Max was a little shy and worried but as soon as he realised the treats were flowing and the beds were cosy and the staff brought lots of love and attention he has come right out of his shell.

Max is an active boy who loves to play with his feather stick to run off some energy, he can be a little boisterous but once he's had enough of playing he will happily enjoy head scratches and rub himself all over your legs so can be a bit of a trip hazard.

Max is a bright boy who knows a trick or two. When the bag of dreamies is shaken Max will stretch up your leg reaching up as far as he can with his paw to get to them. When he is told to go off and sit, Max will sit perfectly and wait. What a clever boy!

He is not keen on being overly handled and picked up and would rather keep all four paws on the ground but is handled daily by staff for checks for cleaning.

Max does have a heart murmur, graded 3/6 by our vet. At the moment this doesn't effect his day to day life and he is currently on no treatment for this but a new owner would need to understand he may in the future as he gets older and should do some research before rehoming.
