Gonzo is a big lovable pup who has quickly captured the hearts of the staff with his goofy ways.

Although Gonzo is just a puppy he has already grown quite large and has some growing to do. He will need a handler who is comfortable with large breed dogs.

He is working on his general training, and loves to show off his tricks like sit, lie down, paw. For a large puppy he plays well and listens but can initially get a bit excited upon leaving his kennel. We are teaching him to keep all of his big paws on the ground!

Gonzo is very food motivated which makes training really fun for him and the staff! He has taken to learning new commands fairly fast and is working hard with all general training and picking up new tricks!

Gonzo would love a home with plenty of space that he can grow into and we feel he would be best suited to a home with older children.

As a young adolescent Gonzo has shown destructive behaviour in his previous home. He would benefit from an adopter that can build up to him being left at home alone.

Gonzo could potentially live with another, settled dog but wouldn’t be suited to living with cats or small animals.
