Leia is a bouncy young girl looking for her new home where she can be the only pet to get all the fuss and attention.

She arrived in our care at a very young age and has spent most of her young life in kennels. She will need patient owners to help her find her paws in a home environment.

Leia had some difficulty interacting with other dogs, however she has improved greatly in this area and now has a couple of dogs she can interact with at the centre. Although, she has a particularly rough play style. Her new owners must be confident and committed to continue her socialisation.

Leia will need an active home and will need plenty of mental stimulation. She would also benefit from a home with plenty of outdoor space where she can continue her training safely.

Leia can have a sensitive streak when meeting unfamiliar people, so meets with potential adopters will be taken at her pace. Once she has built trust with her handlers she is a joy to work with as she is one clever cookie!

She will make an excellent addition to a home with people that enjoy training. Her nose is amazing and we think she would strive doing scent work if prospective owners are interested in progressing her training repertoire.
