Dunbartonshire & West of Scotland

Our centre for Dunbartonshire and the West of Scotland was built in 1960 due to the lack of good facilities to house animals in that area at the time. In the early 1990s, the centre underwent a big refurbishment and expansion to increase its capacity and capability to provide first-class care for animals in need.

It now has:

  • 79 dog kennels with exercise runs.
  • 28 cat units
  • 7 spaces for rabbits
  • 10 units for small animals
  • 4 units for ferrets
  • 8 vivarium of varying sizes for snakes and reptiles
  • An education room to host visitors and workshops.
