We are appealing for information after a male cat was found dead on 18 November.
The male cat was discovered near the primary school in Fintry, Glasgow by a member of the public.
A Scottish SPCA Inspector said: “Sadly the body of a black/dark coloured cat was found at the side of the road on Friday evening.
“A member of the public was kind enough to contain the cat for us to collect to prevent causing any further distress to passers-by.
“The cat was not microchipped.
“If anyone has any information on the owner of this feline they can contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
