Max is a big boy who can be very nervous of the unknown.
He came to us feeling shut down and scared but has since grown in confidence and built bonds with staff. He loves his food and will happily have some head bumps.
He would rather keep all four paws on the ground but is handled daily by staff for checks for cleaning.
Max does have a heart murmur, graded 3/6 by our vet.
He may need some extended time to settle into a new environment and routine.
