Cats with purr-sonality in our animal rescue and rehoming centres across Scotland are looking for their fur-ever homes.

Our centres currently have 296 cats in our care waiting for new families to whisker them away.

And since January this year, we have taken in 1,164 cats across Scotland.

With an estimated 600 million cats worldwide, both owned and unowned, International Cat Day encourages a sense of community among cat lovers, veterinary professionals, and anyone who appreciates these unique animals.

Celebrated annually on 8 August, this day unites cat lovers across the globe to join in celebrating our feline friends.

Izzy has been at our Dunbartonshire animal rescue and rehoming centre for 19 days.

This young kitten has been through a lot in her first 6 months of life. She has needed to have one eye removed because she was unable to see – but this has not stopped her one little bit.

Izzy is an affectionate soul who loves to snuggle up on her blankets. She enjoys her scratches and might enjoy the company of her fellow felines too as she has previously lived with other cats.

If you or someone you know can offer Izzy or any of the cats in our care a home then please apply
