We are appealing to wildlife enthusiasts to donate wet dog and cat food to the National Wildlife Rescue Centre.
Items can be dropped directly at the centre, purchased from their Amazon wishlist or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery.
Centre assistant manager, Sarah Beattie, said, “We are caring for 53 fox cubs and they are preparing for release so are eating a lot. We are currently using around 80 tins of food per day!
“We are in need of Pedigree or Winalot wet dog food for our fox cubs.
“We are also caring for 180 hoglets who are currently going through the weaning process. We are in need of Whiskas kitten meaty or poultry selection in jelly for our young hoglets.
“We are also in need of the adult Whiskas version for our hedgehogs. We can accept any flavour of this as long as it’s not fish-based.
“Your support means that we can continue to provide the best care for our animals at our centre.
“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know our fox cubs and hedgehogs will be too.
Donations of wet dog and cat food can be dropped at the Scottish SPCA Wildlife Rescue Centre, Fishcross, FK10 3AN or purchased from the wildlife centre’s Amazon wishlist: https://amzn.to/3aU5Cat
