Leave a gift in your Will
Leave a lasting mark to protect, rescue and lead the charge to make Scotland the best place for animals.
Choosing to leave a gift in your will to the Scottish SPCA will mean that your love for animals will live on and you will continue to make a massive difference in their lives. Whatever you decide to gift, your legacy will be one to be proud of.
You will empower us to continue to investigate cruelty, improve animal welfare in Scotland and give thousands of companion, wild and farm animals a second chance.
What type of gift could you leave the Scottish SPCA?
There are three different types of gift:
- A portion of your estate (known as a residuary gift)
- A fixed sum of money (known as a pecuniary gift)
- A specific gift (such as property or jewellery)
To leave a gift in your will to the Scottish SPCA, you will need our charity number and address which is:
SC006467 Scottish SPCA, Kingseat Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8RY
It is best to have a solicitor write your will for you, to ensure you have all the right signatures and requirements in place.
We have a helpful pack with information about how to plan your will and about how to add a gift to the Scottish SPCA if you already have a will.
Free will writing service
We also offer a free will writing service with the National Free Wills Network. There is more information about this in our gift in will pack or you can visit National Free Wills Network.
